LEGENDARY!
I'm cheating at Phone Photo Friday. I'm posting pictures that had to be taken with a real camera. I have NO experience with action photography. Yet these photos of Nate are... wait for it.... LEGENDARY (a la Barney) for a young three year old!
Ready for the series?
On your mark...
Get set...
GO!!!
LEGENDARY! (Can I tell you how fun it was to use this camera feature?)
But wait! There's more! Here's video! The hop at the end of the board... LEGENDARY!
Wow! I think I actually would prefer a diving board to jumping into the pool from the side. I keep thinking Jess is going to misjudge and land on the concrete! (Mel refuses to try to jump.)
Your three-year-old is braver than I am. I just learned to swim this summer and haven't jumped off the diving board yet. (Well, we don't have one, but I'm still scared of the deep water!)

I just can't believe your boys! We are visiting my parents and finally have access to a pool and Marissa (also 3) is a terrified wimp! So frustrating!

wYou are right........that is legendary!!!!!!!!! In the future Olympics that will be rolling in the background as he accepts the U.S. Gold medals!!!
Nate definitely suited up for that jump! I can't believe he's willing to jump off & go under like that. Very, very cool!
No fear! I love it. His enthusiasm in the video is adorable. I could watch him do that for hours, and he's not even my kid.
absolutely adorably brave, that one is!
this is a great post!
I just had a flash of Nate and all the other scary things he is likely going to be the first to do.
I promise NOT to show him how to start a fire behind your house!
This is SO totally awesome to have confidence like this at 3.
Ha! I love it! I think my favorite is after you ask him if he can do a cannonball and he's all "uh-huh!" Awesome.
I can't see the video! Boo!
One word: WOW!

How fun... how brave! I wish our pool had a diving board. Oh wait, maybe not.
So awesome! I love that he is small enough that he has to climb one step at a time, and yet runs off the board with no fear.
that ROCKS! total fearless dare devil. i love it!
SO brave!! AWESOME!!
That is SO COOL! :)
Those are GREAT action shots! I can tell he loves the water just as much as mine does!
my fav part is the careful careful climbing up the ladder to fling himself off the end. too funny!
Wow!! That's awesome. Well done Nate!
Just amazing! Love the little hop at the end
Wow, that's amazing! One of my little guys is sitting here with me and keeps making me replay the video :)
Love it! He doesn't even hesitate!
Very brave, both kid and mama!
